The Cajun Gator Tail is our modern, lightweight replacement for the traditional Dragon Tail. Instead of soaking up water and turning into a heavy mop, our tails are laser-cut from 2 mm Finatics Foam to deliver extreme movement without weight or water logging.
Every segment flexes and kicks as you strip, giving your flies a lifelike swimming motion with zero drag. The long taper snaps at the tip, making the tail pulse, glide, and dance through the water — perfect for big predators that want bold action without bulk.
Designed and tested in the Louisiana marsh, these tails cast easier, last longer, and move better than traditional dragon-style materials.
Available Sizes: • Large – 6 inches (musky, big bass, articulated streamers) • Medium – ~4 inches (redfish, trout streamers, juvenile baitfish profiles)
Material: 2 mm closed-cell Finatics Foam — buoyant, durable, and easy to color or trim.
Pack Size: 6 tails per pack.
