The Gotcha Bunny Butt is a modern twist on one of the most proven flats patterns ever created, built for clear water presentations where subtle movement and a natural profile make the difference.
Tied on a Daiichi 2546 hook in sizes #8 and #6.
This pattern blends the classic Gotcha profile with a soft bunny tail that breathes and moves with almost no input, giving fish a more lifelike target when they’re pressured or following but not committing. The lightweight build allows for quiet landings while still maintaining enough presence to be seen on the flats.
Designed for bonefish, redfish, and other inshore species, this fly excels when fish are keyed in on shrimp and require a clean, natural presentation rather than aggressive movement.
