Hatch Dub is a fine, UV-reactive dubbing blend built specifically for tying nymphs, emergers, and small subsurface patterns that imitate insects during the most important stage of the hatch.
If you’re fishing trout, this is the material you reach for when fish are keyed in on bugs just below the surface.
What It’s Used For
• Nymph bodies and thoraxes (Pheasant Tail, Hare’s Ear, general nymphs) • Emergers and cripples during active hatches • Scuds, midges, and small caddis patterns • Light dry fly dubbing when a subtle shimmer is needed
Best For Targeting
• Trout in rivers, creeks, and tailwaters • Panfish feeding on small aquatic insects
Material Profile
• Fine, easy-to-dub fibers for tight, clean bodies • Built-in UV and subtle flash for added visibility • Blends naturally without creating bulky wraps • Designed for small to mid-size flies where detail matters
