The Finatics Kaufmann’s Stone Fly – Brown (#6) is a heavyweight trout fly built to imitate the larger, late-stage stonefly nymphs that drive big fish wild. Designed for deep runs and fast current, this pattern sinks quickly and holds its lifelike silhouette through heavy water.
The rich brown segmented body and natural mottled wing case match the coloration of natural stoneflies in freestones and tailwaters. With a strong barbed hook and durable construction, it’s ready for hard strikes from trout, smallmouth, and even steelhead during early-season activity.
Features:
Kaufmann-style stonefly in natural brown (#6)
Weighted body for fast sink and realistic movement
Strong barbed hook for reliability
Lifelike segmented body and wing case
Hand-tied and Cajun-tested for durability and balance
