The River Phantom is a clean, high-movement streamer built for targeting trout, bass, and other freshwater predators that key in on baitfish.
Tied on a Daiichi 1710 hook in size #4.
Designed with a flowing marabou profile and subtle flash, this fly creates natural movement in the water without excessive bulk. The soft materials breathe and pulse on even the slowest retrieve, making it effective in both moving water and stillwater environments.
The weighted head allows the fly to get down quickly while maintaining a controlled, level presentation—ideal for fishing deeper runs, cut banks, and structure where predatory fish hold.
Where it excels:
Trout in rivers and streams
Bass along banks, wood, and drop-offs
Cold water conditions where slower movement triggers strikes
Anglers looking for a simple, reliable baitfish profile
Fish it with steady strips, swings, or a dead drift—the River Phantom adapts to how fish are feeding.
This is a confidence streamer that works across multiple freshwater scenarios.
