The RS2 is a proven emerger pattern built for technical trout fishing when fish are feeding just below the surface and refusing larger flies.
Tied on a barbed hook in sizes 16, 18, and 20.
This fly features a slim, natural profile that closely imitates emerging midges and small mayflies. It excels in clear water and pressured conditions where trout demand precision and subtle presentation.
The RS2 performs best in nymph rigs or as a dropper behind a dry, making it a reliable choice when fish are selective and feeding in the film.
