The Zebra Midge is one of the most consistent trout patterns ever created, designed to imitate midge larvae in a clean, simple profile that fish see every day.
Tied on a barbed hook in sizes 16, 18, and 20.
This fly features a slim body with subtle segmentation, making it highly effective in clear water and pressured fisheries where trout are keyed in on small food sources. Its minimalist design allows for a natural presentation that works year-round.
The Zebra Midge is most effective fished as part of a nymph rig, under an indicator, or as a dropper behind a dry when fish are feeding on midges below the surface.
